Here we have an Antique Victorian (1837-1901) Walnut & Brass Campaign Writing Slope Box. The box opens to form a writing slope, with a black leather interior with gold detailed edging. At the top of the writing slope it features an inkwell, with a royal crown brass top, and a pen space. The writing slope opens up in both the bottom and the top, the top space which is the largest, has a hidden compartment, which once secretly opened reveals two hidden drawers.
