A high-quality antique German wall clock by Junghans, dating from the late 19th century. Crafted in carved oak in the Vienna style, the case features a slimline architectural design with a pitched pediment top and finely carved decorative details to the pediment and door. The front and side panels are glazed, all in excellent condition, allowing a clear view of the movement within.
The clock retains its original enamel chapter ring and brass dial, both signed by Junghans, with Roman numerals and original hands. It houses the original 8-day spring-driven musical barrel striking movement, which chimes on the hour, playing a full musical tune.
