The case stands on a bevelled base, with an arched section above the dial that enhances the clock’s graceful, architectural form.
The clock retains its original metal dial with traditional English numerals and houses an eight-day brass striking movement, engraved Ansonia Clock Co. on the backplate. It comes complete with its winding key. To the reverse is the original factory label, reading “8 Day Ramsgate Strike, Ansonia Clock Co., Salesroom 99 John Street, New York, USA.”
