A late 20th century cherry wood dining room set by Pennsylvania House, comprising an extending dining table with two leaves, six chairs (including two carvers and four side chairs), and a matching sideboard. All pieces are solid wood and designed in the Queen Anne style, with cabriole legs throughout.
The chairs feature carved detailing to the backs and are upholstered with subtle white cushions with alternating line detailing. There are a few marks to some cushions, visible in the photographs.
The sideboard stands on Queen Anne style cabriole legs and includes a cupboard to each side and two central drawers. The top drawer is fitted internally for cutlery storage. There are a few small puncture marks to the top, shown in the images.
The dining table is practical and versatile, fitted with two removable extension leaves. It pulls apart smoothly to accommodate the leaves when required, making it suitable for larger gatherings. When the leaves are removed, the table returns to a more compact size, comfortably seating six.
