Here we have a Victorian (1837-1901) Walnut & Brass Writing Box. This opens to form writing slope set with black leather with a gold patterned embossing detail surround. Both the top section of the leather and the bottom open to reveal sectioned compartments. There is also inkwell and pen space to the top of the writing slope.
