A late Victorian oak bowfront dresser, dating to circa 1895, featuring Green Man carvings to the cupboard doors, a traditional motif depicting a face surrounded by or formed from foliage.
The base is fitted with cupboards below, with the left-hand cupboard containing an internal shelf, whilst the right-hand cupboard is open internally. The dresser stands on elegant cabriole legs, retains brass handles, and is decorated with both carved and turned details.
The upper section comprises open dresser shelves centred by a cupboard fitted with a lock and key, opening to reveal a shelf within.
A practical and decorative piece offering both display and storage space, suitable for a kitchen, dining room, or country interior.
For ease of moving, the top section lifts off the base.
