An antique 19th century elm country farmhouse single chair, fitted with a rush seat. The chair shows signs of old woodworm, which has been treated, and it remains structurally sound. The rush seat lifts out, allowing for easy access and maintenance.
The chair stands on straight legs joined by stretchers, with straight back splats and a very slight arched top rail. A simple and honest example of traditional country seating, well suited to a kitchen, hallway, or farmhouse interior.
