An antique Edwardian mahogany Chippendale style extending dining table, standing on cabriole legs with ball and claw feet and finished with a pie crust edge. The table is fitted with one extending leaf, allowing it to increase in length when required.
 
The table includes a table winder to operate the extension mechanism; this winder is a later replacement and not original to the table.
