Sheraton Style:
Thomas Sheraton (1751 – 1806) was a furniture designer, one of the "big three" English furniture makers of the 18th century, along with Thomas Chippendale and George Hepplewhite.
The Sheraton style in furniture, named after English designer Thomas Sheraton, is characterised by its light, delicate, and refined aesthetic, with a strong emphasis on straight lines, geometric shapes, and classical motifs. It emerged in the late 18th century as a reaction to the heavier, more ornate styles that preceded it, drawing inspiration from ancient Greek and Roman design.
